Am liebsten h?tte sie ihren Imbiss in Berlin Friedrichshain ja "Vietnamesisch-Deutsche-Freundschaft" genannt. Weil ihre Familie nun schon fast 20 Jahre in Deutschland lebt
und sie sich hier wohl f?hlt. Aber dann erschien der Vietnamesin ihr
Laden doch zu klein, ihr Deutsch zu schlecht und ?berhaupt, und so
hei?t er nun Asia-Euro Imbiss. Das passt, denn auf der Speisekarte
wird munter Asiatisches mit Europ?ischem gemischt, „also alles, was die
Deutschen gerne essen“, sprich Fr?hlingsrollen, Sauerscharfsuppe und
nat?rlich die legend?re Chinapfanne. ?ber 600 asiatische
Schnellrestaurants gibt es in Berlin und dazu noch jede Menge
Sushibars, Thai-, China- und Panasia-Restaurants. Ein Eldorado
kulinarischer Vielfalt?

Nowadays, Asian people belong to the ethnic diversity of Berlin, and not only as tourists. There are sushi restaurants, noodle shacks and Asian shops on virtually every corner. But it has not always been like that. True, in 1966 Korean nurses who arriving in Germany were hailed by TV-reporters as "angels of morning calm." But in reality workers from East Asia suffered severe restrictions in their personal lives -- in both East and West of Germany.
