Jordana Maurer (1981) was born in Geneva, but grew up mostly in Istanbul (her mother is Turkish and her father is French).
In 2004, she graduated from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts with honors in film and television production. Since then, she has freelanced all over the world. She speaks fluent Turkish, French, English, and Italian, and is learning Spanish and German. She lived and worked in Berlin since May of 2007.
