Berit Petzsch (1976) completed her degree in European ethnology and cultural studies from the Humboldt University in 2005. Her master’s thesis, “Der Palast der Republik: Ein Laboratorium auf Zeit,” was a collaboration with Dana Mosemann featuring texts and interviews about the Palace of the Republic. Between 2002 and 2004 she worked on the traveling exhibition “Europa an der Grenze: Ost Odra West Oder,” which had shows in Prenzlau, Stettin, and Berlin. In 2005 she was a recipient of the Leonardo scholarship at the Royal Anthropological Institute in London, and worked as a festival assistant at the 9th Ethnographic Film Festival in Oxford. She has also worked as project assistant of the interdisciplinary exhibition “Loi Chao Tu Hanoi – Vietnamese Life in Berlin,” financed by the Capital Culture Fund Berlin.
